Spring is (Finally!) Here

Badger red and white, with a splash of lavender accent just for fun: the tulips at DPPS are opening!

The tulips have spoken. Wisconsin is in an irreversible Spring as of Noon today, after a questionable start.

We had a teaser a few weeks back of what Spring feels like in Wisconsin and then spiraled into the depths of Winter again for a while. Today it’s finally feeling like Spring has sprung outside. Signs of the season are springing up at DPPS as well; the small garden at our building’s entrance is displaying a nice collection of tulips today, and will soon have other splashes of color for those who come and visit us on the East side of Madison.

What is your favorite thing about Spring? Watch for more colorful flowers and plants in our garden soon! We hope it brings a little joy to your day when you stop by next time.
